i have the same engine in a 1984 e350 and i get about 8
Check the related link, I found a picture of the diagram posted on the inside of the engine compartment. Your next best bet would be a Haynes or Chiltons manual.
Typically, 1 ton fords had either a 351 windsor or a 460.

On the front of the engine basically behind the thermostat housing.
Try under drivers side on the chasis.
The firing order for an E350 Ford van with a 460 big block is 1, 5, 4, 2, 6, 3, 7, 8. The number one cylinder is on the left as you face the van, on the end of the engine closest to the grill.
