this guy dont know what he is talkin about. you will need core support, grill, head lights, turn siginal basically the front clip and ore support but you dont need the wire harness. http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f199/how-to-convert-your-94-97-front-clip-to-98-s-10-a-208724/ This post is on the s10 forum page and gives a full details with pics. this is what i used to do mine. it took me all of 6 hours to do when i was 15 and i have done multiple ones since and its like common nature now very easy but much easier with 2 people.
No it will not, It is all different. Actually yes it will i have to correct you om that i have a 96 blazer same front diff as an s10 and 96 to 03 are the same i just put a 2000 front diff in mine
Check on the passenger side, in front of the axle.
front clip from a 94 and 96 lincoln interchaneable
yes, even though they are different styles, (early 4th gen and newer 4th gen) you can swap front clip and make your 96 look like a 99 with no probs
no cavaliers are front wheel drive and s10 is rear wheel drive tranny wont mount in right position (i own both a 96 s10 and a 97 cavalier)
No, they are not a direct fit, the 96-98 front clip (hood, fenders, bumper, headlights and grill) is different than the 99-00 front clip
i doubt it. theyre over ten years apart.
no, the 98 front clip will only fit 96-98 civics, and for a 00 civic, you will need a 99-00 front clip... they look very similar, but there's a few slight differences that keep them from being interchangeable...
sure, buy new front clip, replace all the suspension, or just go buy a K model Honda motor and save the weight.
yes
it could be the idler arm. i have a 96 s10 blazer and the idler arm is bad everytime i parallel park and cut the wheel all the way in either direction my front end pops
It doesn't have one.
