That is probably not possible due to vacuum issues. If it has drum brakes just convert it to disc brakes. That will give you plenty of stopping power without the need of P/B. click the link

first off the brake booster is the round bell lookin thing on the outside of the firewall engine side first u are gonna take off the master brake cylinder which is the thing with the resovoir for the brake fluid there should be two bolts dont take off the lines just loosen the bolts and pull the brake cylinder off the booster now on the booster itself there are 4 or 6 bolts loosen them and under the steering wheel u will see the rod that goes to the brake booster take out the cotter pin on that rod and the brake booster will come right out once out take off the rod on the back side of the booster screw it in the new booster and put back on do all ur bolts and u are good to go

You probably have air in the lines or the brake booster is losing vacuum. Have the brakes bleed and have someone put a vacuum gauge on the booster,

What is cause of hard brake pedal on 1993 toyota'S 4runner?

The cause of hard brake pedal is malfunctioning brake booster. Check the hose from the intake manifold going to the brake booster for cracks or leakage, replace if necessary. Check the one way valve located in the middle of that hose, make sure the valve opens when you put pressure on one port.. If all those mentioned are ok, the booster itself needs to be replaced....

Could possibly be a leak in your brake booster. This happend on my 96' GMC 4x4. Hit the breaks it would hesitate to the point of killing the engine. ( this is caused because the motor has little to no vaccum with a leak in brake booster) vehicle will also be consuming more fuel.

How do you put in brake booster for Grand Caravan?

Depending on the exact model, you may have a few things to remove in front of it. When front is clear then remove the brake master cylinder then the booster. A lot of awkward wrench work can be made easier if you have a good socket set with universal joints.

How can you determine if a vacuum type brake booster is operating properly?

With the car moving slowly ( in a safe spot like carpark) put on the brakes and note stopping pressure needed, and distance to stop. -Now get moving to the same speed again and turn off engine, then brake the car. If it's harder to brake, then booster IS working.
