NO!!! There are no types of geckos and salamaders that can be housed together, they eat different things, need different amount of humidity and are not capatible! if housed together it causes death!
Most reptiles are very solitary creatures. When housed together, signs of aggression can be shown towards one another. Reptiles require very specific care depending on their natural environment. It is common for two species of completely different areas to be housed together, then ultimately, one will pass because it's husbandry is not being met. Reptiles should only meet one of the same species (opposite sex) during mating season.
NEVER mix reptile species unless (a) they're found naturally together in their native habitat and (b) they're not going to view each other as a potential meal !
Absolutely not ! The tarantula would see the gecko as food - and kill it !
no way!
For a pet a gecko is much better. It is easier to handle and take care of.
If it is a lizard it can't be a salamander because a salamander is an amphibian.

It really depends on where you live (assuming that you found it somewhere). Where I live (Northern California), that would probably be an alligator lizard. They are fairly common. Also, it could be a salamander but salamanders are amphibians, not lizards.
YES
