You can put a new mouse in the same cage as another, but if your mouse prefers living alone, don't put the mouse in the cage. The older mouse should be better off solitary.
No.....................Dont do that they will fight and try to kill each other
Sanitize the cage and get new bedding and the cage is good as new!
I did! My first mouse as used to being alone but after a couple of days, he adapted to his new girlfriend, although, at first for the first couple of days they'll fight, its nothing to worry about unless your mouse is bleeding or seriously injured, mine just chased eachover, also make SURE you clean your cage before introducing the new mouse. It helped me.
Buy a new cage and go to your hamsterz current cage. Then drag the new cage up to where you see another cage pic. (all stuff currently in cage will be moved to inventory)
I'm not sure what your question is but the urine of a female mouse smells the same as a males, the difference is that a male uses his urine to scent mark so is constantly spraying around his cage, yet the female urinates when her bladder needs emptying only.....hope this helps!!
Well, you need a cage. You can buy these at almost all pet stores. Make sure you have a food dish, water bottle that attaches to the side of the cage and a running wheel for exercise. Put your mouse in this cage and give her some time to settle in. Remember that mice are social creatures and get lonely on their own, so a little companion for your mouse may be a good option. You don't need to get anything else expensive, mice are cheap, so when you have the cage, if it's dig enough, adding another mouse doesn't add much cost. Make sure you let your mouse get used to you, stay near the cage and speak to it. When it seems unafraid of you, start picking it up and stroking it. Good luck with your new pet :)
First move your mouse to a temporary home; i put mine in a run about ball. then disassemble the cage, throw out the old bedding and fill it with brand new bedding. then reassemble your cage and put your mouse back in. i suggest changing the bedding at least 1 a week; maybe more if your mouse has strong smelling urine. = )
NEVER put the new hamster in the same cage, with same stuff! BOIL the toys, cage, in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes! If you don't you are most likely to have another sick/dead hamster :( The disease might remain in the same cage where the sick hamster may have touched, nibbled or made any contact with. Stay safe!
Place him in a separate cage next to the other two's cage, this way they can't fight but they still have each others company x
Yes unless another hamster has lived in it before. The best thing to do is to switch cages from time to time with your hamster if you buy a new cage. So he can get used to the newer cage while being in his or hers normal habitat. If you just want a hamster wonderland than i recomend buying another cage with some tubes to connect the cages.
keep them in the same cage
You take both the of the rats and put them in an area that neither of them have claimed. Keep them in their for about 2 days. You have to keep an eye on them though. Once they are good together move them back into the old cage. If this does not work then you may not sue me. Also you can take the one that isn't mean and get it a new cage. Next time you get rats I advise you to buy the same litter.
