NO! the Montana is a front wheel drive minivan and the firebird is a rear wheel drive, even if they were both rear wheel drive for some reason, the firebird engine would shred the wimpy minivan trans and it would be just wrong to put a minivan trans in a firebird.
you might need to buy a kit but yes you can put one on any car
well you can change the entire rear hatch with that of a trans am's but I dont think it would be worth the the money to convert the car into a trans am style car.
i dont think it will fit im not positive but i would just put a turbo kit in or a supercharger kit in and fix the trans and put new heads in that can handle a nitro shot and put some nitrous in it i dont think it will fit im not positive but i would just put a turbo kit in or a supercharger kit in and fix the trans and put new heads in that can handle a nitro shot and put some nitrous in it
Do a web search on your specific model. Search "Your Make and Model" body kit on google
Anything can be done with enough work. However after 1981, f bodies had chevy engines rather than the Pontiac. The Chevy trans will not bolt to the Pontiac block willingly.
Maybe
Yes
If you only dropped the pan to put a shift kit into it it will probably take 3-4 qts of ATF to fill it. If the transmission and the torque converter is totally empty, probably 10-11 qts.
All 1993-2002 Firebird/Firehawk/Trans Am, taillights are interchangable, just be careful when your removing the lamp sockets. The wires could be on the short side and when you go to remove them you could easily pull the wire from the socket. Hope this helps...
Yes, You can put a manual shift valve body in it.
There will be detailed instructions in the kit that you can follow. Best to have the trans out on the floor to make it easier, but it can be done in the car. Keep everything as clean as possible and read the instructions carefully.
