No. However it does have very decent sound quality. In the stock cd/radio player you can adjust the bass, and it can get pretty loud. For music quality, the 2001 Malibu is a 9 out of 10. You can, of course, set up a subwoofer. I'm just not sure if it will be compatible with the stock radio that came with the car. I actually ran into your question looking for the answer.
