All the video's you've been seeing on youtube with shiny gold on psp, or the forums you've been reading about people with Pokemon shiny gold on psp are all about people who have custom firmware on their psp's. You see there are two firmwares. The official firmwares created by sony, and custom firmware's created by hackers such as Dark Alex. There are many ways to go about getting custom firmware, which is essential if you want to be able to play emulators and roms such as shiny gold on your psp. First check around and see if there are any downgraders for you psp's current official firmware (I'm assuming you're on official firmware) If your psp is too high a version and their is no exploit or downgrader for your current version then you'll want to invest in a Pandora's battery and memory stick. These two tools have the capability to downgrade any psp firmware to 1.5 so that you may then upgrade to custom firmware. So to you or anyone looking to inquire about custom firmware just remember search engines are your friend and you're going to have to do a small amount of research to fully understand just what custom firmware is and how to obtain it. I wish you the best of luck.
no it cant with regular firmware . u need custom firmware. which then u need a pandoras battery and magic megory stick. so go to www.youtube.com/user/asianrappa

you can only go from 3.72 official firmware to 3.90 custom by using a Pandora battery to downgrade your psp to 1.5 then upgrade to 3.90. to obtain a Pandora battery you cam buy one from eBay or if you know someone on custom firmware, they can make one. (WARNING, once your psp battery has been turned into a Pandora battery it can't be used as a normal battery)
DISCLAIMER: I do not condone piracy, and I'm assuming it's a backup of your own disc. DISCLAIMER 2: The process of installing custom firmware can permanently break your PSP if done incorrectly. I am not responsible for any breakages To load the ISO, you will need to have a custom firmware on your PSP. This is a firmware that has been reverse-engineered to add community-desired features, such as homebrew capabilities. The method to install one depends on a) the firmware you install, b) the current firmware of your PSP and c) the hardware model of said PSP. Once you installed it, plug in your memory stick to your PC and make a folder called 'ISO' at the root of the memory stick (so it looks like eg. X:\ISO), and put the ISO file in there. On the PSP go to Game > Memory stick, and it should appear there
well u see firmware is like a version of your psp that you update once in a while about once a month but some firmware 6.20 and below can be hacked when you hack your psp it turn the firmware into something called custom firmware it is a firmware that is not made by Sony but it is much better, though it is illegal. When you get custom firmware you can get free iso games play home brew (user made games and apps) and get custom themes (like psp have 360 home screen and look like 360) and you can play your favorite games for Sega Genesis to the ps1 so you choose which you want to be official and go legal or be rebellious and hack yours
