No. Apparently it makes a gel.
Just found out from my mechanic the hard way, do not mix the two. If its pink you need to put in pink, more costly about $18.00 a gallon, but worth it.
Green, red, pink, orange, or blue.
green coolant has been around for ever.the new pink coolant is supposedly bio degradeable and supposedly not cause harm to the environment if dumped on the ground. the pink is still detrimental to pets, and basically the pink coolant is just another example of big companies ripping off the consumer with more hype to sell there product
No, color is only the preference of the manufacturer.
Yes
the red coolant is only used in some GM models. you can use green only if it specifies that it can be used in GM vehicles.
the coolant goes in the reservoir on the passenger fender. use a 50 percent water to 50 percent green coolant to fill it.
Pink and green can go well together, but it depends on the shades of green/pink. Put them together and see what they look like. If you like it wear it. There are no rules.
No, do not mix types or colors.
If it is green then any ethylene glycol or universal coolant will work if it is red/pink/orange then use a universal coolant, the mopar HOAT coolant or Zerex G-05 coolant.
We use green! I would say it doesn't really matter - but would go for the pink if in doubt.
