You shouldn't use ANY heat on a doll's hair. The hair is attached with plastic and using heat will melt it causing the hair to come out.
send it to the american girl hospital for only 25$ to get a new head. \ I hope this helps
Im not completely sure what that is but im guessing it is a doll for little girls and if that is correct, no, you cannot curl its hair. It will fall out and damage the curlers. (a different user's answer) yes, but not with a hot curler. You have to put it in curlers and leave it for a day.
Are you out of your mind?! You can't grow doll hair! They don't exist! Well one way to grow "Doll hair" *sigh* Make some kind of little wig and put it on the doll. Glad to help! ;) -F00xy666 or RainXluv
No. A cloth bodied doll should never get wet. They will mold and mildew. This will ruin a doll very quickly. If your doll has gotten wet, make it a point to use a hair dryer on the body quickly. Use low heat and keep the hair dryer moving. If she has been soaked, then the best thing to do is to un-stuff her and let her dry, then repack the body. If you are inexperienced with this, seek adult help as it can be time consuming.NEVER put the doll in the clothes dryer! At the least, it will frizz the doll's hair, and may even melt the limbs. Use a hair dryer only on the cloth part of the doll, and keep using it until there is no moisture. This means that you use the dryer on the doll at least three times, even more if the doll has been heavily dampened.
No! The heat from the straightner will cause the plastic hold the hair ti the head to melt and make the hair come out.
One with ceramic plates or one that will hold excessive heat.
Well the only way I know how to is to wash their hair and these people will show you how: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DoL3qfGloo But I do know that you should NEVER brush their hair without washing it first! (Messes up the wig) But other than that I have no Idea. If anyone knows, Please type it up! ps. That was one way to wash it...but there are other ways! Here is another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG3XomUUMog&feature=related Do em both their both super good!
The key to it is moisture! keep your hair moisturized and do this at least twice a day. Try to stay away from chemicals and heat on your hair.
Yes! But you have should use it sparingly if you apply too much it will make your hair feel greasy. Otherwise it goes on very light and when you apply heat you don't have to worry about burning your hair.
The heat is obviously generated by the the electricity which is provided by the socket. The the heat from the electricity conducts through the hair straightener resulting in the hair straightener to straighten your hair
Yes. well its physically possible for a barbie doll to get wet but DO NOT try it unless it is made for water and actually says to put it in water on the box. just because its a mermaid doesnt mean its waterproof. i speak from experience
The heat sort of "sets" your hair in the shape your curlers make it
