How do you smooth an American dolls hair?

To make your American Girl doll's hair soft again, you will need:

A metal tipped brush

A spray bottle,

Some sort of cloth (to keep the American Girl doll's clothes from getting wet)

Put the cloth underneath the doll's hair.

Lightly mist your doll's hair to keep from frizzing.

Gently brush your doll's hair with the brush.

Style it how ever you like!

P.S. Be sure to ALWAYS use a metal tipped brush! If you use plastic brush, it will pull the doll's hair out.

Another thing you can do is a bit better for frizzy hair.

You will need:

A plastic container (you can also plug your sink if that's easier)

Warm water

Fabric Softener (also called Fabric conditioner)

1: Fill your sink or container with the water.

2: Put 1 and 1/2 capfuls of fabric softener.

3: Dip your doll's hair in the solution and let it sit. It will be softer and less frizzy.

If your doll's hair is still dull, pour a nickel-sized spot of baby oil onto your hand, rub your hands together and then massage into her hair. Son of a Gun is also another choice for a conditioner. I think that would help smoothen the hair.
