Might make the fridge work a little harder but should be fine if it's warm. I'd avoid piping hot though.
yes
It is not recommended to put hot water in a refrigerator. After freezing water become ice with a temperature down to -18 0C in a home refrigerator.
My personal rule is, never put anything hot in a refrigerator. Let is cool first.

Nothing ,if the refrigerator is working properly. If you put water in the freezer it will become ice.
Soaking fruit in hot water can revive them and prepares them for a few days in the refrigerator.
Water expands when it becomes ice.So the glass will break if you put a glass of water inside the refrigerator. I put glasses of water inside my refrigerator all the time.It keeps it cold. If your glass is freezing and breaking you need to check your temp setting.
It is where the supply line is attached to a water line. May be under the kitchen sink or in the basement under the refrigerator in the closest supply line. Should be a hot water line. Hot water because most of the minerals stay in the water heater and the water in the supply line will be cold from sitting. Someone may have put a shutoff at the floor behind the refrigerator, but I doubt it.
The hot water warms the refrigerator, which forces it to turn on to cool it off.
