The engine computer is the rev limiter. It controls max rpm by shutting off fuel and ignition.
Raptor 50's are a youth atv. The factory has a throttle stop screw at the throttle lever. There is also changes to the throttle arm and carb slide that prevents attaining full throttle. Lastly the stock CDI box has a rev limiter.
you dont
The only way to "shut off" the spees limiter is to get it tuned by someone that has a tuner. Go to www.OQCGP.net there is someone there that can help you.
If you have broke your ignition switch or lost the key disconnect the ignition barrel from the white connector plug then pull off the the key hole then with a knife peel back the casing around the wires to bear metal and wrap them together and attach the ignition back and it should be like turning the key.
well, you 'bypass' it by turning it off? The compressor freewheels when the HVAC is off, so you might further explain bypass.
By reprogramming the ECM parameters.
the limiter plug is in the end of the magazine tube.just loosen end nut cap, remove barrel, pull off slide, then point towards ground, limiter plug should fall out;then reassemble without limiter!if you have problems read your manual or read online manual at stoeger.com !
Have you tried turning it off and on again
6psi on/off road
The LTR 450 will get the Raptor off the line and has better suspension, but it doesnt have what it takes to beat the Raptor 700 in a flat out drag race.
you have to hook up a handheld tuner to cut off speed limiter. Make sure you have decent tires. Eclipse GSX had no speed limiter because it came with tires rated for 160mph+. Rs GS GST came with tires good for 130's. That is why they have speed limiter. My GSX had intake, catback, fuel boost and turbo boost, maybe around 260 horse, and the fastest i got it to was 155.
