Yes, but you can get a funky color if you do it wrong.
yes, however it has to be a darker shade. Semi permanent dye will never lighten your hair so you can use it to go darker but not lighter.

you would have to get a bleach wash on your hair fist becase tint on tint goes darker so to go lighter you would bleach your hair then put a light colour over the top of it .
To lift or make lighter you want to use, 30, and 40 Valium developer. To darker you use 10 and 20 Valium developer. Also to go lighter use a hair dryer. For darker room temperature. Colour should never be left in the hair longer then the time recommended, it over processes and the fades much fast.
Yes, but depending on the color you choose the highlights will always be lighter than the rest.
You can either do low lights or just an all over tint. You may need to go 1 level darker then you want because the color will be lighter where you have blond.
Depends on the color you want to dye it to. In general, it is safe to color hair two shades lighter or two shades darker. Since it is already black, you can't go much darker. If you're coloring it two shades lighter like to dark brown or medium brown, by all means go ahead. However if you're going much lighter to blonde or white colors, you'll have to bleach your hair. If you avoid bleaching, you'll be left with a dark tone on your light hair and it may look ugly. You might be left with a slight orange tone if you color without bleaching. For some people, applying the over and over again gradually removes this effect and takes them to the perfect color they are looking for.You must also know about different types of dyes:Permanent - hair color is permanent, but it could damage your hairDemi-permanent - significantly less harmful, but works only for going to a darker colorSemi-permanent - lasts a few weeksDeposit-only - only stains the hair and is least harmful. Lasts a couple of weeksTemporary - goes away after a single washYou must choose the dye type correctly so you don't damage your hair especially when combining with bleaching.
Yes, I'm pretty sure. On some women the hair is more prevalent or darker which causes it to more noticed. Lighter hair colors usually aren't noticed but it's still there... everywhere.
you should color over your hair with a darker shade other then that blonde can not be stripped out.
Yes!! It might damage your hair a little bit, depending on how thin your hair is etc, but I have done this several times, and my hair is fine, just make sure it's not too soon after you died it last time. (I'd say the minimum time to wait is about 4 and a half weeks.) hoped this helps!!
Do you mean pastel hair dye? It depends on if you use a permanent dye or a semi-permanent. Semi-permanent hair dyes will wash out and fade over time; permanent hair dyes will stay in the hair until you cut it or dye it another color.
