actually chemo makes you lose wait. during chemo you vomit a lot a you lose a lot of weight that's why the doctors try to keep you fed and have enuogh food in you to were vomiting wont kill you.
During Chemo you sometimes might feel a bit heavier due to steroids which you get before the chemotherapy itslef

Yes you can. The steroids they give in order to manage naseau and vomiting can increase appetite which leads to eating more and ultimately weight gain. They can also cause you to bloat and feel bloated which is the result of water retention. This can all be managed however with a proper exercise regimine while taking chemo. I am a powerlifter and am currently undergoing chemo for testicular cancer. I was horrified with the the weight gain after my first cycle. Hoiwever it is coming down because I still lift and do cardio. So it can be managed.
