Enough salt and it will kill the fish
It is important to remember to put things in a goldfish tank, even goldfish get bored. Some of my suggestions for tank decor are artificial plants and a "hidey hole" for your goldfish.
about half an hour to an hour
No. Unless you put it in a tank with sand.
You can try a salt bath. Put a little salt in a bucket with water from the same tank (for heat purposes), in the past I have used a tablespoon per gallon. Put the goldfish in the bucket for about 15-30 minutes depending on the size of your fish, he should be fine in this amount of time but watch him anyway. After take him out and put him in a bucket of plain tank water for about 5 minutes. The reason for this is the salt bath stresses him out and he lets out a chemical (not a 100% sure if it is a chemical or skin) that can foul your regular water. When you see his breathing go back to normal you can put him back into the tank. Also use marine or aquarium salt, not table salt. Table salt contains iodine which is bad for fish. I have 6 goldfish varying from 1-5 years
yes, but it may kill the goldfish
If there is water in there...
Borneo suckers.
godfish can be any color-not just gold. yes u can put them together if they r the same breed (goldfish)
it depends on how big it is if it is a goldfish or beta it can be in a bowl.If it is one of those big tiger fish or aqarium fish then put it in a big tank. A fish will grow to the size of the tank or bowl. For instance, say a goldfish is in a tank, it will not grow as big as the tank; however it will grow big enough to be able to swim in their environment. The fish will not overgrow the tank. I had a six inch goldfish in a thirty gallon tank.
Goldfish just need a plain bowl and some plants
scoop water from existing tank place fish in it and scrub tank wiith salt and rinse thouroghly put fresh water give about a day for water to be at the steady room temp. and out fish back in
No. The only thing that can go into a 1g tank is a betta, and that's barely okay. PLEASE don't put any number of goldfish in a 1g
