Yes, you can put any color rubber bands (if you are talking about the ones that fix your bite) on Damon clears, because they come out for meals and stuff. :)

They may be a tiny bit bigger, but they won't bother you as much. Now though, the Damon system is more comfortable, smaller, and faster with sliding doors and memory wires.

They are way smaller, the wire bends easier (this is kinda a good thing) they are heat activated (You eat/drink hot stuff and the wire is activated to move), you have them on for a less aomunt of time and require less ortho visits then traditional braces. I'm not sure exactly what you mean... There are different types of braces. The old fashioned "railroad-tie" braces with bands around the molars, Damon braces (I have these. They are smaller, the wire is heat activated, and more comfortable. They also are cemented, not connected to your teeth with bands). Porcelain braces (white to match teeth but very weak and easy to break brackets) and then some others too. Hope this helps, RH

Do Damon braces hurt?
Well, first of all they feel ok during the day and they dont hurt at all when they are being put on but, when you go to bed they hurt so much I was up all night they hurt so much. If Damon Braces were like that I dread to think what normal ones are like. Don't let me put you off though I only got mine yesterday and I just think my teeth are going to be so much nicer were there taking off. If I were you go for it, it's for life!
