Does Stainless Steel have a CAS Number?

However stainless steel and steel are not part of the European REACH directive (1907-2006-EC) there seem to be some examples of CAS numbers for stainless steel, however this looks more like a individual initiative from the supplier / producer.

Example: CAS 7439-89-6 ThyssenKrupp Stainless

Steel is not a chemical substansion as meant by REACH, but a product with several chemical elements. These elements do have a CAS number.

Your spacers hurt what can you do?

You can take Tylenol to help ease the pain, but don't worry, it should go after about three days! I don't know about others, but I know that Tylenol helped me and honey did too! I don't know if it was because I took honey about an hour after taking Tylenol, but my pain eased.

Is it safe and effective to use teeth effect bands to close gaps in your teeth?

Yes, teeth effect bands are safe. Infact, I used them myself and my teeth are very healthy. My orthodontist told me if the band slides up on the gum it can damage that area. However, It isn't likely to happen. You would experience a lot of intolerable pain before it would damage that area.

Mike

AnswerIt might work temporarily, with some risk of damaging your gums. But you would need some kind of a retainer to make your teeth stay in that position after you have removed the bands.

I would recommend to see a professional instead (dentist or orthodontist).

My son had 2 tooth bands go up under his gums and needed an operation to remove them , very painful and 4 years later still having major gum probelms, fear he may lose his front teeth, how can these be safe? He used to break them whilst eating so did not realise why his gums/teeth were so sore, it was at least 6 weeks before he saw a dentist/hygenist and then back to orthodontist before being sent for his operation as they thought it was just a probelm with his gums! We now intend to make a complaint as they have damaged his teeth and gums , THESE ARE NOT SAFE, and we were given them by an orthodontist!

Is it ok to put braces without having xray?

I'm only 15 and I know that it is certainly not recommended to do this. If they are applied without an x-ray, your dentist and/or oral surgeon will not know how to assess a problem if one were to arise. Also, they won't be able to show you how much your teeth have moved and if any movement actually occurred, besides the obvious. This is necessary in order for them to determine how much they should tighten the wires. Trust me, I wear them myself, and x-rays have been taken a few times. Ask for them when you have the chance.

What is the yearly salary of an orthodontist in Canada?

Orthodontists' bills are paid directly by patients or by their insurance companies. An orthodontist with an established practice can generate a great deal of money, but half or more of that money could go to pay for equipment, staff salaries, insurance, and other overhead costs.

Orthodontists who own their own practices must also pay for their own health insurance, life insurance, and retirement benefits.

Even after these costs are taken into account, however, orthodontists have very good earnings. While precise figures are not available for Canadian orthodontists, most earn between $100,000 and $400,000 a year. However, remember that it takes many years of study and practice to make it to this level of income.

Why Iowa dentists refuse title 19 patients?

A lot of them stopped taking title 19 patients because they said they were unreliable to show up for their appointments. To me that is socio economic discrimination... but there isn't much anyone can do about it.

Can you use teeth effect bands to close the gap in your front teeth?

I purchased teeth effects a month ago. Now the gap is completely gone I can't stop smiling I feel like a new person. I used to wear braces for the same problem, but I tell you, teeth effects work better and I recommend them to everyone.

I bought those bands. They work ur teeths get kinda weak but then they get together it took like 3 months for mines for me to get results but theres a problems.. i close the gap but once i stop using it for a week i started seein my gap again...

so i think it depends on how ur gap is that u might get good results if ur teeth or ur gap is in ur front teeth and they like coming out . u know like bugs bunny ur gap will not close

well this stuff really hurts my teeth, but it works...even when i go to sleep with it on...i wake up in pain...it really hurts...BUT its cheap...and pain IS BEAUTY :)

I am currently using teeth effect bands. For the first few days they hurt. Which is expect because my friends always told me there teeth hurt a wire was changed when wearing braces. Anyways, I've been wearing the bands for 2 weeks now and my gap is closed. I still wear them a few hours a day to make sure my gap doesn't reopen.

Do spacers hurt?

Spacers actually kindove hurt!! It might not seem like it but its so painful! The reason why spacers hurt is because they are spacing out our teeth, if one of your spacers was hard to get in, then you know its really gonna hurt!! You should take advil or suck on a ice cube to numb your jaw- MAKE SURE NOT TO BITE THE ICE CUBE or its gonna kill! If your spacer still hurts put an ice pack on your cheek or if your at school go to the nurse and they might have a better way to help.
