Can you raise the boiling point of water?

Yes u can. The change in the boiling temperature depends on the number of molecules/particles that are dissolved in water and not their size. For example, if u add salt to water the salt will raise the waters boiling point because addition of impurities to pure substances increases the pure substance's boiling point . Or, sugar is not an electrolyte (it does not dissociate into ions) and has a bigger molecular weight which means that its molecules are heavier and therefore the same grams of sucrose and salt will correspond to fewer sucrose particles than salt, leading to a lower increase in the boiling point.
