Best Answer

Yes I can read a pdf on Kindle.

1. If the pdf file are just files or document, I can read it directly just by transfering it to my Kindle.

2. But if the pdf file is PDF eBook, maybe we have to convert the pdf to Kindle mobi format because Kindle doesn't support the common pdf format eBook.

YES, and NO. :D Yes-> You can read Hindi eBooks on Kindle. No -> Kindle cannot read Hindi text. The idea is to convert your hindi PDF through K2PDF or any other software, which essentially converts texts and pages in pdf to images. This converted pdf can be read easily on Kindle then. The reason to ask for change through K2PDF is only because it creates pdf keeping in mind the 6" screen of Kindle.

Can you read a PDF e-book on a Kindle?

Yes. Amazon made the Kindle PDF compatible starting with the Kindle 2. But if your PDF books are purchased from Kobo, Google, Sony Reader, and even barnes & noble stores, you would can't read these pdf files directly on your Kindle. There are ways to remove the Digital Rights Management from PDF files, but I won't go into these here, as they are illegal and therefore not appropriate for this forum. If you just want to convert a PDF file to Kindle's Mobi format, I recommend the free and useful calibre program, that can manage your ebook collection as well as converting among several e-book formats.
