I am not positive on this but..... I think that if someone is suicidal they treat it as if it is a person who is planning to kill a person, even if it is their own. Killing a person is killing a person no matter what and when someone is a threat to a human being's life, they can do what ever they want to you (in their minds, even though it probably shouldn't be that way in some cases).
