You do not need to have any type of license to insure and register a vehicle in Alberta. You'll obviously not be able to operate it without one, or in your case without a fully licensed driver in the vehicle with you or as per the provisions of your class 7 license.
Yes you can even insure it - you just can't drive.
Check with your states DMV. That would be the only way to get an accurate answer.
Insure?? yes, register? NOT unless your name is on the TITLE.
Yes! As long as you are of legal age (In the state you are a legal resident of) you can buy a vehicle. You cannot legally register the vehicle in your name or legally drive the vehicle. You can even insure the vehicle with many insurance carriers; just not for driving purposes (i.e. as a "collector" vehicle for loss or damage in storage).
I bought a vehicle but cannot drive as I cannot have a drivers license. Is there a way to insure and license it in my name so I may have a licensed driver drive my vehicle?
YES you can own a car without having a driver's license. Now to drive it and get it properly registered, that's another storyAnswerIn some states you are able to register a car without having a valid driver's license. However, insurance companies will not insure the vehicle without special provisions included in the policy. For example, if the owner is disabled and another person will be driving the vehicle for them, that person will need to be on the insurance policy. AnswerHere in Texas, you can register a vehicle without having ever applied for a Texas driver's license. It's totally ridiculous. The state basically tells you to get insurance coverage, register your vehicle THEN go and appy for a driver's license.
some insurance company will let you but they will require a licence number of the person you are allowing to drive the car
DoType your answer here... do you need a drivers license to insure car?
yes because if you get pulled over by the cops then you have to show them the information about your vehicle.
In Massachusetts, when you register and insure vehicle
You have to own a vehicle to insure it then you have to register it as the registered owner. So if you are borrowing a vehicle either the owner has to insure it or you have to buy it from them
