Doing a DPF delete isn't simply a matter of removing the DPF and running without it.. there's reprogramming involved, as well.
It is on top of the engine. You have to remove the air filter assembly and the cover between the heads.

Yes, on my 2008 Astra 1.7CTDi it is in the middle of the engine, at the back, black plastic dome with a big hex nut on it, you need a 32mm socket to remove it. The filter is a paper type beneath this cover.
Raise hood. Using your hands, remove the plastic engine cover. Look to the side of the engine for a canister that hangs down. This is the filter. Remove the large plug on top of the oil filter cartridge with a large socket wrench. Pull up on the plug and the filter will come up with it. Replace the oil filter cartridge and put the oil cartridge back into the canister.

First, using a T25 Torx remove the splash guard below the engine. Second, drain the oil using 19mm socket. Third, oil filter is below the radiator next to a hose. Use an oil filter extractor. That's it.

The fuel filter is on the top of the engine, below the aircleaner, and upper engine cover

It is on the lower right side of the engine compartment. It is easier access (and remove) if you pull off the right front tire first.
