My 4x4 Expedition has 265/70/17......if you have 16" wheels it should be 255/70/16

It is caused by taking the 17 year old kid on wiki answers seriously when he said you could replace your 255/70R16 tires with 265/75R16. Most often caused by oversized tires on the vehicle but check for inner fenderwell being loose or damaged and maybe a suspension problem.
That is a fairly good swap. Know that your speedometer will show 60.8 mph at a true 60 mph. A better swap would be a 265/70-16. Your speedometer would show 59.7 at a true 60 mph.
Anything from a 245 to a 265 will fit with 15 inch rims if you have 16 inch rim go with a 255 of 31" tires
