Yes
If that vehicle has all wheel drive all 4 tires need to be the same size.
That is an acceptable swap but a much better choice would be 245/60-17 which is an excellent swap.
265 70 17 tires can be found online at sites such as "Amazon" or "eBay". One could also look for deals on such tires at a local mechanic or dealership.
yes, but the 245 will be wider.....make sure you won't have clearance issues when turning...otherwise you'll be fine.
Can you? Yes you can. Should you? No, you should not because the 65 series tire is 4.84% (1.47") smaller in overall diameter than the 70 series tire. You should never go over or under 3% difference. If you wish to go to a 65 series tire then you need to install 265/65-17 tires that are only 0.19% (.06") larger. That size will be an excellent fit. A 255/65-17 will also work well but not quite as well as a 265/65-17. A 235/65-17 will not work well and you should not install that size. Know that the 265 may rub the fender liner when you turn sharply so check that.
I have heard that at highway speed (75), you will be going ~ 2 MPH faster than it shows
sears.com charges about $90 to $120 for Cooper STT tires that are 235/65/17. You can see the rate at http://www.bizrate.com/automotive-tires/wrangler-at%2Fs-411154177-lt215%2F75r15--pid1794722528/

You have to get tires within the size range recommended for your model. A common tire size is 265/65R18 , but you have to get what's right for your SUV. Saturn Vues, which are midsize SUV, takes 235/60/17. 17 and 18's are very common for SUV's. 14 and 15's are more common for cars.
