no, you cannot, unless you switch to a motherboard that supports DDR dram, the spacings are different on the modules and on the motherboard, so it is impossible to use them.

No you have to change the whole system build to change from DDR to SD or SD to DDR.

ram doesn't use a cable, but sd and ddr are not compatible

no it can not..2 different sticks of ram

I need answer plz tell me difference between sd ram and as ddr ram

SDRAM is faster than DRAM!

Basically, it is a type of Random Access Memory (RAM) slot, that supports Double Data Rate (DDR) RAM. DDR RAM is said to be twice as fast as Synchronous Dynamic (SD) RAM.

Ddr stands for double data rate. Which actually doubles the speed compare to sd ram

They are the same in your case. SD defines the ram as synchronous dynamic, the most common version or DRAM and offen spoke as just RAM.

No. PC133 SDRAM and DDR1 ram are different in many ways.

No, pc133 is SD ram and Pc3200 is DDR ram. They are not compatible with each other.

Not both at the same time. Most motherboards will be able to support both types of RAM but DDR RAM is much better, due to the double data capability it has. Since RAM prices are quite cheap it would be better if you throw out your SD RAM and buy DDR. No you cannot use both ddr ram and sd ram on the same pc. You have to use either or depending on the motherboard. The slots are different. You can determine what type of memory you have by entering setup in the bios when you turn on your pc. DDR Ram has a slot in the very center of the chip that forms to the slot you plug it into. SD ram has a slot on the chip off set the middle. Hope this answers your question. hi, 845 gl can only support ddr1 ram-400mhz and sd ram but any one of this. not both support it at a time.

By transferring data on both rise and fall of the clock signal

DDR Memory modules have only one notch on the contact strip, positioned just off-centre. Hence DDR modules will not fit in an SD slot. SD Memory Modules have two notches.

RAM stands for Random Access Memory, and it is the RAM that allows you to operate more than one program at a time on your computer. The more RAM you have, the faster your computer will be able to run programs. SD RAM was used on computers built some years ago, but manufacturers have moved on to using DDR RAM (double data rate ram), which operates faster. RD RAM is used on a limited number of computers.

DDR RAM is dubble data rate random accesss memmory and is twice as fast as SD RAM or single data rate random access memory. it also runs at faster buss rates depening on what your mother board suports.

Im afraid this is not possible. This motherboard takes DDR and / or SD ram, not DDR2.Both SD and DDR can not be used at the same time. IMHO DDR would be the better choice.Max allowed would be 2Gb (ddr 266 or ddr 200 buffered)Max allowed is 1Gb, unbuffered.Hope this helpsBe safe

No, you can't use sd ram on a motherboard that specifies DDR memory and vice versa. It matters in terms of speed which type of memory you use, DDR is faster.

* Simm * SD * Dimm * DDR1 * DDR2 * DDR3 * SRAM (Static RAM, that stores data as a state of a flip-flop) * DRAM (Dynamic RAM, that stores data as a charge in a capacitor).

Yes it will, to a maximum of 2Gb. This board also supports SD Ram, but the 2 DDR and SDRam, cannot co-exist on the same board at the same time. Hope this helps be safe Cadishead Computers

DDR standards for "Double Data Rate". DDR can transfer data on both the rising and falling edge of the clock signal, whereas standard SD ram can onle transfer data on one or the other. This means data throughput on DDR memory is twice as fast, hence the name "Double Data Rate". Also, they are physically different: A DDR modules has one notch on the contact strip, SD modules have two. i donot know SDRAM comes in 100MHz and in 133MHz where as DDR comes in 266MHz, so DDR has double speed as comapred to SDRAM. SDRAM has 2 notches and DDR has only 1 notch.*and it is small in size

SD-RAM is synchronous Dynamic RAM and it is the only type of RAM that can be used in a laptop.

---sd-RAM--- The full form of sd-RAM is Synchronous dynamic random access memory. callltb@yahoo.com

32mb sd ram or 64 mb sd ram

Yes sd ram have two cuts
