You cannot replace a 94 V6 3.0 Dodge Caravan engine with a 4 cylinder 2.4 Plymouth Voyager engine. The reason is because the engine is too small.

will a 1999 voyager brain work for a 1998 dodge caravan
It's just above the oil filter.
It's not likely. The parts that are interchangeable with the '99 come from model years 1996-2000 Caravan, Voyager, & Town and Country. **Correction** Instead of "Caravan, Voyager, & Town and Country," I should have specified the caravan and voyager as "Grand." The base model is shorter than the grand so those won't fit a grand caravan/voyager. Usually the Town & Country wheelbase is the same size as the "Grand" models of Caravan & Voyager.
Check under vehicle -- follow fuel line from tank
It should; most Caravan/Voyager/Town & Country parts are interchangeable when it comes to the body. The only difference between Caravan/Voyager and the Grand ones is the length of the wheelbase.
If it's a 3.3L engine then about 35 bucks from Advance auto.
A 1998ÊPlymouth Voyager requires an uncommon transmission fluid due to the turbocharge that this engine has. The correct transmission fluid is Mopar ATF+3.
The 1996 -2002 Caravan and Voyager do not have a cabin air filter.
