Yes, But you have to buy a smaller belt. And it is a bit tough to get it on.
It is possible to by pass the 2001 Rodeo. By using the serpentine belt for a Rodeo with a non ac system the belt should by pass the compressor.
go to parts store and tell them you need a belt for no air conditioning for your engine!!
We think so.
By Pass would be to reroute the path of travel for current.
just order a belt for a 95 Buick le Sabre without ac.
Yes you can. However, they do not make a specific serpentine belt for bypassing the ac compressor on a 99-01 Hyundai Sonata. You would have to measure the exact length you need to bypass the ac compressor. The belt would then go around the power steering, crankshaft, and alternator. The tension can be adjusted to fit this custom belt as well.
It is at the back of the engine on the pass side. It is under the alternator, follow the serpentine belt to the power steering pump.
Many cars can have the ac compressor bypassed. Buying a belt for the same model vehicle without ac should be the correct length for a replacement.
yes, i have the same car and my air conditioner burned out years ago. instead of replacing the air conditioner i just got a new belt - GM makes a belt specifically for this
Take off pass. front wheel and cover inside wheel well. i believe it is a 3/8 drive ratchet into tension pulley and push towards front of car. The belt will get loose to remove.
Go to Autozone and get an 88.2-inch 6-rib serpentine belt. This will effectively bypass the smog pump and keep all other accessories operational.
This does not have a multiple belt system like the older cars. This has a serpentine belt. 1 belt to drive all vehicle accessories. The auto tensioner is located on the right side of the engine (pass side) take a 15mm socket or wrench and put it on the only pulley it fits on. note the belt routing, remove belt. reverse to reinstall new belt.
