NO
All wood can be burned. Wood is largely cellulose, and cellulose is combustible. Sap, tar, or pitch in wood will also burn. Certainly we can treat wood to minimize its combustion potential, but all wood can be burned in a hot enough fire.
Charcoal?
Carbon monoxides are particles of carbon which enters the air when coal and wood are burned.
Ash.
I have a wood stove and have burned cedar in it for years, it is completely safe. Recently alot of cedar trees have died on my property so I have had an abundance of the wood. It burns alot faster than oak so i mix the two for a longer lasting fire. Enjoy
