Yes, but heating oil is not taxed and is therefore illegal to use in an on-road vehicle. It has dye in it, and if you are ever stopped and they find dye in your tank, the fines are pretty hefty. While you might get away with it in your personal diesel vehicle, a commercial rig like an NPR might be under a bit more scrutiny.
What is oil radiators for heating in household, are they cheap to run in electricity
I have gotten friends going after they have run their homes out of oil with diesel until they could get a delivery.
When it is heated, you can smell the fragrance.
not legal as road use tax was not added to sell price...ez to catch due to coloring added to heating fuel oil...your engine can't tell which it guzzles.
yes, i just ran out 2 weeks ago and researched it pretty hard. assuming ur tallking about home heating?
Yes it can. To much oil and the crank can turn it into foam. Which will cause a loss of oil pressure. This can lead to engine damage and over heating if you run it long enough.
Crude oil is not diesel fuel - it is crude oil, and you really do not want to run this through your engine. Pre-EPA2010 diesels and off-highway diesels are able to run off waste oil if so desired, but this requires pre-heating and straining of the oil (and this is oil which is already processed, not crude oil). Aside from that, such a mixture wouldn't be legal for any on-highway applications.
yes it can blow between the cylinders, use no oil/water but run really rough

Oil doesn't run cars it lubricates engines. Cars run on gasoline which is refined from oil.
The source is Crude oil. Gasoline is extracted by heating cude oil and collecting the vapor at a specific temperature. The condensate is gasoline. The process is known as 'Cracking' and may have other chemicals added, to make the process more efficient.
It does heat the house slightly. The heating is equal to the number of Watts of the fan. Why does the fan run all the time even when to heating is on? Because it is a silly design or the activation switch is stuck on.
