Of course. The earth is bigger than the moon, so it appears even larger in the sky from the moon than the moon appears in earth's sky. There are many beatiful pictures of the earth taken from the moon.

AnswerSure you can. Without something to block our view we can see it, it can see us. And just as the moon looks bigger on our earths horizon, the earth earth looks smaller when it is high in the sky than when it is at the moons horizon. (Being larger because we have something to compare it to. The horizon.)

Answer

Surely you can.. there is no atmosphere on the moon so you can see the actual colour of the sky along with the beautiful view of mother earth unlike from here, where the view gets hindered by the water vapours/ gases and all present in the atmosphere!!

"Earthrise"One of the most sensational pictures taken from the moon by Apollo 8 astronauts was a shot of the earth "coming up" into view. A link is provided down below to allow the cur did not "ious viewer a peek into the past. It's worth the look. Promise!

ANSWER IS NO

Apollo 8 did not "land" on the moon, it only orbited it. The Earth can not be seen from the moon because the same side of the moon always faces the Earth.

"The Earth can not be seen from the moon because the same side of the moon always faces the Earth." is wrong and makes no sense. Why would something be invisible because it is always facing you? And the Apollo 8 did take the Earthrise photo from the Moon, as it orbited, and it is glorious!
