Yes. Slugs are not a good idea, due to potential damage to the adjustable choke. Buckshot should be fine.

Yes- may not give the best pattern (modified seems to shoot best) but is not unsafe to fire.

Improved-cylinder, or skeet barrel. "Modified or full-choke barrels (in any make gun) simply will not shoot slugs or buckshot as well as the more open chokes." --Edward A. Matunas; "Deer Hunter's Guide to Guns, Ammo and Equipment", 1983

Can you fire slugs from a 20 gauge Savage Model 67 C?

The last one I saw today had a 28 inch full choke barrel. Sure I would shoot buckshot out of that shotgun all day. I don't know about slugs though. The box of slugs state that they will shoot out of any choke; however, IC produces the best results.

Is it ok to shoot slugs through the 26 inch c- lect- choke?

Can you fire a slug through a mossberg 535 turkey tactical shotgun equipped with a choke tube?

From Mossberg's website:"Can I shoot slugs or buckshot through a "smoothbore" field barrel with Accu-Choke™ tubes? (500/505/535/9200/88/930 models) Yes, and with sabots or rifled slugs, the more "open" the choke tube, the better the accuracy ("Improved Cylinder" recommended.) The "full" or "modified" choke tubes are preferred for buckshot loads. Slugs, buckshot and steel shot loads are not recommended for use with an extra full "turkey tube" installed, due to the tube's tight constriction. Do not fire any load without a choke tube installed, doing so will damage the internal choke tube threads. "
