It depends on where you are. In most U.S. states, you can legally shoot a firearm at a shooting range, or outside the city limits in some counties.
No. However, local ordinances may prevent you from being able to discharge a firearm within town limits and such.
At a shooting range or on a LARGE area of private land.
That depends on state and local laws.
Not necessarily. Being on your own property does not automatically give you the right to ignore applicable laws. For example, if you live in a city that prohibits the discharge of a firearm within city limits, then unless that law specifically says that it doesn't apply to people discharging firearms on their own property, it would be illegal for you to shoot a gun in your backyard.
the answer depends on where you live. In my state to shoot a firearm you must be 400 feet away from any house(s)......................check your local ordinances............
No, not unless it is a privately owned beach and you have the owners permission and it is not in city limits. You can not fire any type of firearm for recreational purposes on public property, unless it is a place designated to do so, such as a range.
Anywhere outside City Limits.
Depends on where you are and the circumstances of the cap busting. Discharging a firearm within city limits is against the law in most jurisdictions, unless you are at a gun range or some other area with specific permission from the city, OR you are acting in defense of yourself or another against immediate threat of death or serious injury. Some jurisdictions have the "Castle Defense" also, which basically gives you the right to shoot an intruder in your home even if there is not a threat of death or serious injury. Discharging a firearm outside of city limits is generally permitted, so long as you are not creating any risk of harm to persons or property.
I don't know were u live in mo. but I live in southern missouri in the ozarks and I know from personal experience that within city limits it is illegal to shoot a paintball gun without a proper license but outside city limits it is not illegal to walk outside ur porch and shoot ur paintball gun. ~colt~
It depends on where the property is, and to some extent who you are, but in general No, simply being on your own property does not automatically give you the right to discharge a firearm. You must obey all state and local laws, even when you're on your own property.
Find the sign along the road that says, "Welcome to X- Town" and the area before the sign is out-of-the-city limits.
