No, you cannot. According to the Eugene City Code:

person other than a peace officer in line of duty shall discharge a gun,
including spring or air-actuated pellet gun, air gun or BB gun, or other
weapon which propels a projectile by use of gunpowder or other explosive,
jet, or rocket propulsion

NO!
yes
It all depends on the rifle, pellet and power source.
If it is BB or a pellet gun, yes. A real firearm, no.
yes if it fits but metal bbs cans destroy the rifle
For us to answer, you would have to define "better". I can target shoot at 50-100 meters with a .22 target rifle, and I can't do that with a pellet gun. But I can target shoot in my basement during bad weather with a pellet gun- and I can't do that with my .22s.
This rifle is a break barrel design an shoot one pellet at a time and has to be reloaded after each shot.
Each City and County has their own ordinance on shooting. You have to check with local authorities to answer this question. I you have the right kind of pellet trap you can shoot in your home or basement. Check link for a good one on ebay.
Yes you can kill a duck with a pellet rifle, but it depends on the model and where you shoot the duck. Cheap pellet rifles under $100 usually are not powerful enough to put the duck down without it suffering. A good pellet rifle $150 or more will be sufficient. Also I suggest you use hunting pellets (Hollowpoint) they will be the most effective. A head shot is the best place to put it down quickly. Also it may require a license to shoot the Duck depending on where you live.
No. Pellet rifles are designed to shoot all brands of pellets. But remember pellets, unlike BBs come in different sizes. So if your rifle shoots .177 pellets, only shoot .177 size pellets not .22 size or any other size. Never shoot BB's in a pellet rifle unless it is designed to shoot pellets and BB. It will say in the instructions if it can shoot both. Also remember that pellets also come in different weights. Light pellets will fly faster but are not as accurate as heavier pellets that fly slower but straighter and have more knock down punch.
Atticus allowed the children to shoot tin cans with their air rifles.
The Model 160 rifle shot a .22 Pellet using C02 as a charge.
