Theoretically - yes, you could suppress a minigun. Realistically however, it would be impractical at best.
Not only would you need a suppressor for each barrel, the rate of fire and heat generated would most likely wear out the suppressors faster than you could replace them.
The rounds would also need to be subsonic (under 1080 feet/second) for a suppressor to have any real effect, if not you will still have the 'crack' the bullets make as they move towards the target.
And this is completely ignoring the noise generated by the motor powering the minigun and the sound of the action as it feeds/ejects rounds.
The only way to get a minigun in call of duty 4 is to go on the mission 'Heat' and use the minigun in the crashed helicopter.
what button do you press to get the minigun

You can't by a minigun. They belong to U.S. Army and it's allies. Besides it's illegal to the public.
The Advantages of the MG3 is: 1) The MG3 is lighter than the Minigun. 2) The MG3 has more accuracy than the Minigun 3) The MG3 is much cheaper than the Minigun. ( Unfortunately, the offer for the Permanent MG3 is over and so is the Minigun. The cost of the MG3 Permanent is either 10,600 or 12,000 cash ) Thank you !
Quite accurate.
