The amount of gallons that a Chevy Cavalier can get depends on the year and size of the gas tank. However, most of the Chevy Cavaliers will have a 15 gallon tank.
In order to siphon the fuel out of the tank you need to remove the fill hose from the tank. The hose is difficult to get to but it can be done. Once the fill hose is removed you can then slip your siphon hose into the tank. Try not to allow any dirt to get into the tank during the process.
In order to siphon gas from a 2001 suburban, you will just need a hose pipe and a can. Place the hose pipe into the fuel tank and suck with your mouth and direct that end to the can. This is rather dangerous as it may cause various hazards.

The 2000 Chevy Cavalier windshield washer tank is held in place with for retaining bolts. Remove the retaining bolts and the windshield washer tank will come out.

You can put anti-freeze into the search tank of your Chevy Cavalier. Newer Chevy Cavaliers have a sealed radiator and the search tank is the only place you can put anti-freeze into the system.
