It is impossible to slow down time in both Pikmin games without the use of an Action Replay. You must collect the 30 parts in the 30 days given, as there is no possibility of altering time.
No, though you can turn them to stone with the Ultra-Bitter Spray in Pikmin 2.
Up to 100 Pikmin can be outside at a time. This includes wild Pikmin of colors you haven't discovered yet.
Unlike the first Pikmin, Pikmin 2 does not involve a time limit. Thus, the game has a more relaxed pace than its predecessor.
You have to leave Pikmin idle by a Puffstool and call them at the exact moment they are hit by the Puffstool's spores. This requires perfect timing. Be careful, as Mushroom Pikmin will attack any other kinds of Pikmin.
The fastest time anyone has ever beaten Pikmin is nine in-game days.
There are two main Mushroom Pikmin glitches:If Pikmin happen to be knocked down as soon as the Puffstool's spores hit them, they will turn into Mushroom Pikmin but will still attack the Puffstool. They cannot be called back and may turn into regular Mushroom Pikmin. If you can call Pikmin the exact moment when they are hit with the Puffstool's spores, they will turn into Mushroom Pikmin but will be completely under your control. These Pikmin will still attack normal Pikmin.
No, they did not exist at that time. Only red, blue, and yellow Pikmin are available in the first Pikmin game. There are only white and purple Pikmin in Pikmin 2. They have no Onions, and can only be found by tossing any Pikmin into purple or white Candypop Buds. These flowers can only be found in underground caverns, which were not present in the original Pikmin. The flowers disappear after a certain amount of uses, and thus only certain amounts of purple and white Pikmin can be attained at one time.
Pikmin can get flowers in three main ways:Allowing Pikmin to stay in the ground for a long time eventually gives them flowers.Having Pikmin out in the field eventually causes flowers to sprout.Drinking sap immediately causes Pikmin's flowers to grow.Flower Pikmin are much faster than leaf or bud Pikmin, and will carry things faster.
On the Xbox Version you press X to slow down time.
Yes, it is possible to gradually return to the slow down time
You are supposed to lay down near the Pikmin, and the Pikmin will carry you to their Onion and you will be lifted up into it (you will not go into the onion) and you fall back down then on top of the onion you will see fireworks. This only works if you obtain the item that allows you to lay down. There are no harmful or meaningful effects of the fireworks.
Unknown, maybe working with seven different types of Pikmin at the same time would make the main story too complex.
