If the transmission modulator is bad you will either have really harsh, or really sloppy shifts, this could affect the clutches in a negative way, and possibly make you lose trans fluid into the engine where it will burn and create smoke.
Get a new one, they are pretty cheap.
No
no
It could be caused by a bad modulater, plug screen or it needs a overhaul
NO get it fixed or you will be replacing an engine $$$ Soon.
no it will run rough and stall out
i have a s-10 did the same thing it was the vacuum modulater located under the battery box
No.
yes you can but i would not ... bad idea
You can not, and should not drive a car that has a bad water pump. The water pump pumps coolant through the engine. You engine will overheat and die without a functioning water pump.
sure you can drive with bad wheel bearings. right up till the wheel falls off, or the bearings sieze and lock up and cause lots of expensive damage.bad bearings have also been known to overheat before seizing, and cause fire in carso yes you can still drive if you wish to trash your car completely
Yes, you can still drive it. You may have a tire out of balance or a wheel bearing getting bad. However, have a mechanic check it out soon.
