There is no such thing as a "chlamydia trait." Chlamydia is not a genetic infection. Once you take effective treatment, the infection is gone, although any damage or scarring it caused is not reversible with antibiotics.

∙ 10y agoSince you are both treted you will not catch chlamydia from each other. But, you can be reinfected from another infected source, or if you have sex before treatment is complete. Abstain from oral, anal, and vaginal sex until seven days after single-dose treatment, or until seven-day treatment is complete.
