You would need a drive shaft from a suburban
No, they are different.
No. The center shaft in the 4-wheel drive transmissions are longer so the transfur case will slid up on it. The 2-wheel drives are shorter.
If you did the drive shaft would not hook up and you would have no steering ability.
Perhaps bad tires or bent rims bad axle shaft? swap front tires for rear to see if problem persists
Yes, you need to open up the transmission and replace the or swap the output shaft. Then bolt on the shorter tail housing.
I have just swap my 84 50th AE automatic to an 88 turbo manual. the Tranny mounted right up to the engine. 84 - 86 is the same dirve shaft but, 87 - 89 are different. So , 84 -89 are interchangeable with the afore mentioned drive shaft difference at the flange mount to the differentiel. they are same length though.
Some of the front wheel drive 3.8 liters had a balance shaft in them. Other than that, I think they are the same. One way to find out, if there is a particular part that you are trying to swap, is call the dealer parts dept and give them the year and model of both engines, and see if the part number is the same for the part(s) you want to swap.
Yes you can if you have all the parts to make it work from another truck.
you can if you install the Bose amp also, just the radio swap will result in no sound.
Are you replacing the HD or do you want to SWAP with OS installed on BOTH????
it's basically like a H22 swap. You use H22 mounts, adapt civic wire harness to the f22, f22 half shaft, 90-93 intgra axles or you could use h22 half shaft and axles but you have to use one or the other.
You can make your car 4 wheel drive by installing a transfer case, a differential at the non-driving axle, and an additional drive shaft. This is an expensive and highly technical task which is best suited to professionals. Or you find a donor 4x4 vehicle whose chassis is compatible with the body of your car, and do a body swap.
