Lupus patients should always discuss over the counter medications, herbs, and supplements with their rheumatologists because of the danger of worsening lupus activity or negative interactions with medication. That said, Advil is a NSAID or Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug which is often used to relieve inflammation and the pain it causes. The PM part is likewise not likely to cause problems. But ask the doctor because it is the Doctor Who will know what is safe for you.
If you take vyvanse during the day but need help falling asleep at night, try half of an advil pm. it works for me, and the dr. said it's not harmful.
No you cannot take them together
yes
Probably. Motrin and Advil are brand names for Ibuprofen. It is an anti-inflammatory, fever reducer, analgesic medication available over the counter. There are no similar ingredients in Tamiflu. There are no drug interactions between the two medicines. The age of the child needs to be taken into consideration, so you should consult with your health care professional or pharmacist about your specific case. Ibuprofen is harsh on the stomach. Have some food before you take it. At high doses, it can cause bleeding, so take it just as the package recommends. Never give Aspirin or Aspirin containing medicines to children or teens when they have the flu, this creates a risk for Reye's Syndrome, a very serious condition. From the Tamiflu web site: TAMIFLU has been shown to have a minimal chance of negatively interacting with other medications. Over-the-counter medications may be prescribed to reduce severity of symptoms while the antiviral action of TAMIFLU takes effect.
It's generally not a good idea to mix drugs. Why not take just one drug, Tylenol PM or Advil PM?
Advil PM might contains an antihistaminic drug that enhance adverse effects of Ativan (dizziness, sedating, nausea). It is not dangerous, but you might avoid that.
i sure hope so
only if you want to have a good time.
Advil-PM contains Benadryl (diphenhydramine, an antihistamine) and Clarinex is also an antihistamine, though of another type. I wouldn't take both. Try using plain Advil with a different antihistamine, Zyrtec, which also has a sedating effect.
Take Tylenol or Advil. If you want to fall asleep too take Tylenol PM.
Yea
Lol no!
