Yes it can! I spoke to a pharmacist at Walgreen's just a moment ago because I had the same question. The generic brand of Ambien doesn't seem to have the same effect on me as the name brand did. She assured me that they are the same as far as ingredients but I can tell you that 3 day son the name brand worked great where as 3 days on the generic didn't work at all.
The pharmacist said do not make a habit of taking Tylenol PM though. She said it contains Tylenol and Benedryl. It will help you fall asleep but you'll wake up in the night. The Ambien will keep you asleep through out the night.
My generic brand is manufactured by Teva and is called Zolphidem. I'm taking 10 mg nightly.
As long as they are both prescribed to you and not abused, but taken how they were prescribed. I took both bc I had 4 teeth cut out of my mouth and can't sleep when I'm in pain, even of I take an ambien. It made me feel drunk. Just a heads up for those of you who are wondering. Don't take more than prescribed!
Absolutely, but it will make you very sleepy!
Worked fine for me
Yes
Yes, Tylenol PM/cold products contain acetaminophen and antihistamines with or without decongestants, and would be OK to take with the antidepressant Effexor.
As with any medication before you take it, consult a qualified physician.
I am not a physician, but bendryl has diphenhydramine in it and it is safe to take with flexeril but u should always ask ur Dr.

yes
Because they both contain antihistamines, they will cause a reaction. Tylenol PM has the same antihistamine as Benadryl and it is not recommended that you take Zyrtec and Benadryl at the same time. Contact you doctor to verify if you can take your Zyertec in the morning (as usually prescribed) and the Tylenol in the evening. Zertec is a long acting antihistamine and should be out of your system before you go to bed. The Tylenol PM is a short acting antihistamine and would be out your system before your morning dosage.
Both medication can be taken together. However, both have similar side effects and these might be increased. If you can take a smaller dose (half) of ativan the night you take Tylenol PM, it would be the best choice.
Yes
If you are twelve years or older it is safe to take two tylenol pm's regardless of how much you weigh.
Yes if you want to die
Both my PA and a pharmacist confirmed that you CAN take Tylenol pm after surgery as a sleep aid, as long as its worked in as part of your regular Tylenol dosage. ie...I can take 2 500mg ES Tylenol for pain management 4 times in a 24 hour period. I will be replacing one of those doses with 2 500mg ES Tylenol PM. Don't exceed your maximum dosage of ANY Tylenol product prescribed by your doctor/surgeon. (This answer is for reference only an is based only on MY doctors information)
Take Tylenol or Advil. If you want to fall asleep too take Tylenol PM.
