Pharmacist would not recommend it. With the benadryl and Tylenol mixed can cause serious drowsiness and it is way too much Tylenol at one time your talking close to 650mg per darvocet tablet not to metion the Tylenol content of the P.M. It will put you to sleep for sure but its not healthy and you wont feel good at all the next day
Darvocet contains Propoxyphene (a narcotic) and acetaminophen (Tylenol). Depending on the the strength prescribed it may have as much as 650 milligrams of acetaminophen. Dosage of acetaminophen should not exceed 1000 milligrams every 4-6 hours and should not exceed 4000 milligrams in a 24 hour period. Doses above this may cause serious liver damage/death. If in doubt ask you pharmacist or MD because they know what is appropriate for you specifically.
yes it is safe to take together
I've took 2 at the same time and I know other people that have and they've been okay. Darvocet isn't a strong drug at all, but you shouldn't take more then 2 at a time or 4 or 5 a day for a long period of time.
Yes just not in mass doses.
can aerius kids be taken with children tylenol
Hydrocodone has Tylenol in it. It can be in large amounts or smaller amounts. I've seen it have 650mg of Tylenol all the way down to 350mg. Because of the damage to your liver, I've always been told not to take Tylenol when you take hydrocodone.
There will be absoption problems on the part of Tylenol induced by the kaopectate. Hence can't be used at the same time. In other word the plasma concentration of the Tylenol will be reduced resulting in reduced bio-availability. Thus its efficacy will be jeopadiced.
ya you can but the side effects will greatly increase.
Ambien works on the benzodiazapine receptors, leading to sedation. Darvocet is a combination of propoxyphene (a very weak opioid) and acetaminophen (tylenol). Although caution is advised when taking Ambien and an opioid, since propoxyphene is so weak, it should not be a problem. Just watch for respiratory depression.
You can take the 2 together without a waiting period. Don't take to many vitamins. Follow the directions as indicated. Don't take any more that 1,000 milligrams of Tylenol at one time. You need to wait 6 hours in between each dose of Tylenol. You can have 4,000 milligrams a day. You are safe to take the 2 at the same time.
It is technically safe, however there is pain releiving medication in Tylenol Cold already. If the pain relief from Tylenol Cold is insufficient you could take ibuprofen with it.
Darvocet already has acetaminophen in it, so you definitely need to be careful how much other acetaminophen you are taking. The maximum dose you can safely take (and even this is pushing it) is 1000mg per 6 hours. The general rule is no more than 4000mg in a 24 hour period. Darvocet can contain up to 650mg per dose. So simply taking two Darvocet may already put you over the limit of your safe dose of acetaminophen. It is safe to mix ibuprofen with acetaminophen based products. It is also safe to take ibuprofen with the propoxyphene which is the main ingredient in Darvocet.
No, the active ingredient in Tylenol Night Time is the same as in Benadryl. (Diphenhydramine.)
