Can you take Vicodin and Aleve?

Yes, combining oxycodone and aleve cause no adverse reactions. However, unless you are taking oxycontin, it is more than likely you are taking a preparation of oxycodone and a drug similar to aleve such as acetaminophen (tylenol) or ibuprofen (advil). Your prescription bottle will be labeled with any mixer in the preparation. If it has a mixer in it aleve would probably do little to further relieve pain, and taking aleve on top of a mixer could potentially be hard on your liver. unless you are absolutely positive there is no mixer, I would not suggest taking aleve with oxycodone.

You have to take 7 or 8 500 mg Tylenol to cure a headache what can you do to take less pills but cure your headache?

If you are taking this much acetaminophen at once, then you are risking liver damage and failure. 4000mg is the maximum amount of Tylenol allowed in a 24 hour period. You also need to be on the look out for acetaminophen in other products, such as NyQuil, Excedrin, etc..You may wish to speak with your doctor regarding medication. Before doing so, I would try taking 800mg of ibuprofen (4 Advil or Motrin). If this doesn't work, I would also try taking two Aleve (naprosyn sodium). (Not altogether)Many pain experts suggest taking fewer pain killers more often - instead of taking 7 or 8 Tylenol at one time - why not try taking ONE Tylenol every 2 - 3 hours so that you have a constant level of painkiller in your blood - remember not to exceed 8 Tylenol in one day.

Can naproxcin cause a rapid heart rate?

Naproxen sodium, or Aleve, is known to cause heart palpitations. If taking the medication causes noticeable changes to one's heart beat, it would be wise to stop taking it and switch to Tylenol or Motrin.

Can you give your dog Excedrin?

No, Excedrin has the same active ingredient as Tylenol and is very dangerous to dogs. Dogs are exceptionally sensitive to the side effects of human pain medications (Tylenol, Excedrin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, aspirin, acetominophen, ibuprofen, etc) and you can cause a fatal stomach ulcer with them pretty easily. If you believe your dog would benefit from pain medication, you need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian. There are safe and relatively cheap drugs to help control mild to moderate pain in your dog, but you can only get them with a veterinary prescription.

Can you take excedrin during a heart attack?

I am wondering this also, I am not a physician so I wouldn't know what to recommend. Taking 2 excedrin is like taking: 1 500mg Aspirin 1 500mg Tylenol & 1 cup of coffee (caffeine) I know the Aspirin will help, I don't think the Tylenol will hurt, and it comes down to the caffeine. Would you caffeine help or hurt a heart attack? I know caffeine will cause the heart to beat faster. I guess a physician can let us know his opinion on the matter.

Can you mix oxycodone with excedrin?

I have found that mixing the two increases the effects of the oxy. Not a good combination though if you are taking oxy apap due to the fact that two excedrin has 500mg of acetaminophen in it that is simply too much tylenol in that case I would use ibuprofen instead. Keep ur head on straight and stay safe.

What pain reliever dissolves the fastest in water Tylenol or Excedrin?

Can you take Aleve and midol?

I would recommend against taking midol and aleve together if on the active ingredients listed includes either naproxen or ibuprofen. This is because naproxen is the same drug as aleve and ibuprofen works in a similar fashion as naproxen. Taking aleve with either of these two ingredients in your midol may produce an overdose.

Is it bad to smoke weed after taking Tylenol?

No. Tylenol has nothing to do with THC. Something bad would be taking a prescribed medicine for heart problems then smoking weed.

Can i take excedrin with lorazepam?

You should not be taking Excedrin with Lortab (hydrocodone with acetaminophen), because they both contain acetaminophen (Tylenol). If you do, you need to exercise extreme caution.Taking more than 4000mg of acetaminophen within a 24 hour period can cause liver damage, severe overdoses can cause liver failure. You need to read both the labels on the Excedrin and the Lortab to know exactly how much acetaminophen is in each tablet. There are different types of Excedrin - some which have 250mg of acetaminophen per tablet, some which have 500mg. All hydrocodone formulations marketed under Lortab contain 500mg of acetaminophen per tablet. (Note: Vicodin, Norco, or the generic Hydrocodone/APAP - have other different formulations, some of which are higher than 500mg per pill). If you have taken your Lortab and still need increased pain relief, other OTC medications you can consider are a straight aspirin medication (Like Bayer) or an ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or Naprosyn (Aleve).

Can you take Ativan and Ritalin together?

Some people are able to take Ritalin and Excedrin together, some are not. Several different formulations of Excedrin (Excedrin Extra Strength, Excedrin Migraine, Excedrin Back & Body) have three different ingredients: Acetaminophen (Tylenol) Aspirin (a non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory) Caffeine (one dose = 2 tablets = 2 cups of coffee) Ritalin is a stimulant medication. Some people will be able to handle taking Ritalin along with extra caffeine in their diet (on top of any caffeine-based drinks they already intake - coffee, soda, Red Bull and other various energy drinks). Always speak to your doctor. Note: There is always the option of matching whatever dose of acetaminophen and aspirin you would be taking from the Excedrin, and leaving out the extra caffeine.

Can you take Aleve with Trimacet?

This would be fine to take. Aleve is a NON-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It will not interact with the steroids in the triamcinolone. Remember that NSAID drugs are harsh on the stomach. Have some food before taking the Aleve.
