No. It will take minimum three weeks for the pregnancy test to give you positive results. It will take two weeks after ovulation in normal course to get periods. You have to wait for about one week after you miss your periods to get the pregnancy test positive in most of the patients. Morning sample is preferred, as it is usually concentrated and have got more units of hCG. (Human chorionic gonadotropin.) For the day sample to become positive in most of the patients, you have to wait for three more days. Still the 100 % patients will not give you positive test, as there may be delayed ovulation in a given patient and there may be delayed pregnancy. So you have to go for weekly pregnancy test till you get the periods. Alternately your gynecologist may prefer to go for ultrasound or may prescribe you progesterone tablets to get the periods.
