No, in fact Disney states that they do not allow food and drink of any kind into the park, and offers a Picnic Area near the Main Entrance Plaza that has lockers (costs is $10 to $15) that can hold ice cheats.
In reality, Disney does allow individual portions of food and drink. Major exceptions are glass bottles, Alcoholic Beverages and things like buckets of chicken, loafs of bread, etc.
But to bring in a few pre-made Sandwiches and some small bottles of water are OK.
Best thing to do is spread out your food and drink within your group, so one person isn't carrying too much. Disney does inspect bags before you enter the parks and Ticket Booth area.
