Can you take acai berry with anti anxiety medicine?

I was on a prescription of 0.5mg Xanax twice a day to treat my anxiety disorder. For several years I tried weaning myself off this addictive drug but each time I tried, it would result in increased anxiety attacks.
Three years ago, I was involved in promoting a superfruit juice containing Acai, Blueberry, Pomegrante and Luo Han Guo. Naturally, I consumed this to give a truthful testimony to my customers. I was just consuming for the general benefits of including vitamins and minerals in my diet. Little did I know the real benefit I would derive.
I consumed 4oz of this drink every morning. After several months, I noticed the nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach that remained with me 24/7 caused from my anxiety, disappeared, replaced with a feeling of calm. I still took my medication as prescribed, but noticed I was able to wait longer periods before taking the pills. Normally, I would begin to feel edgy a few minutes before the usual time of taking my pills.
Continuous consumption of this superjuice promoted a feeling of well being and gave me increased energy - not the heart racing kind - but a feeling of not being tired. Eventually, I was able to decrease my pill consumption to 0.25mg split in two - half in the morning and half in the evening.
In a few short months, I was able to decrease my pill consumption to zero. I have been anxiety free and medication free for over 3 years now. If I had unknowingly suffered any side effects as a result of consuming an Acai-based juice while taking anxiety medication, I can only say it was a side effect worth having.
