Yes, I'm cross-posting this here also, since it fits the Question/Answer. It's hard to say. And I would recommend, if you DO decide to take it, let your health professional know, so you can keep your blood pressure monitored; and obviously, to make sure it doesn't increase. Much of the Acai effects are media/internet hype and speculation. Dr. Oz stated on Oprah that Acai may be "just as good" as any other "dark colored" fruit/vegetable....just because something has a "lot" or "high" antioxidant count, doesn't necessarily make it better for you. I read many sites/blogs/forums which noted that Acai supplements (caplet, pill, or powder form) actually increased blood pressure..... and I know someone who actually had a similar affect. I don't know, maybe they didn't "give it enough time" to work...? Maybe that's part of it "doing it's job" - to increase blood pressure, in order to "battle off" (clear off the artery walls, I guess?) the free radicals? And then, perhaps over time, the blood pressure is supposed to drop back down to normal? I don't know....but I recommended them to stop their usage....they didn't even know they had BP until they were denied a blood donation. And donated fine 3-5 months earlier (Acai-free then). As I said though, perhaps the high blood pressure is a "temporary" side effect? I don't know, I'd be curious....but buyer/user beware. Definitely answer back, if you do decide to "take the plunge" with Acai, with high blood pressure to give us your input.
No idea. I would recommend consulting a health professional. The Acai is still being studied...if you do decide to try it out, be sure your doctor knows, so your blood pressure can be monitored better, to be sure it doesn't get out of hand.

No, Ace diet pills are not safe to take with high blood pressure. If you are taking high blood pressure medication, it is best to speak with your doctor to find safer alternatives.
yes
Peaple who have high blood pressure
If you have normal blood pressure and you take medicine for high blood pressure, you could cause your blood pressure to go too low and you could end up in a coma or even dead.
