Absolutely! Tylenol is probably one of the safer pain relievers and fever reducers. It will not interact with your BP medicine or make you feel jittery or nervous. Remember to follow the directions, though. Taking too much Tylenol can damage the liver.

Excedrin contains acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. All three of these will not interact with Atenolol.HOWEVER, taking two Excedrin is the same as drinking two cups of coffee back to back. Atenolol is usually prescribed to decrease blood pressure and pulse to normal levels. It may be counter-productive to be increasing your intake of caffeine while on Atenolol. It is something you should discuss with your doctor.
You might take acetaminophen with ibuprofen. You might take acetaminophen with Naprosyn. But you CAN'T take ibuprofen and naproxen (Naprosyn) together, as long as both drugs are NSAID and works on the same receptors. Naproxen is a little bit more powerful than ibuprofen.
