Not unless you purposly want to get high.
Oxycontin and Percocet are both oxycodone not morphine or hydromorphone.
yes
I take 2x 5mg endones twice a day for break through pain and take oxycontin 30 mg twice daily and I am also prescribed 2mgx2 xanax pills a day and also am prescribed valium 5mgx2 twice a day for muscle so to answer your stupid question endone and oxycontin both have the same active ingredient called oxycodone and oxycodone isnt even morphine and wont mask any thing lmao
If you took any pain killer and it was too strong do not take any more medication the same day. Check with your physician before taking any prescription medication. Just because the milligrams are the same does not mean the drugs are equivalent to each other and have the same therapeutic affect in the body.
it will cause a seizure. stop mixing xanax with morphine you dirt bags. do you have a death wish?
Oxycontin is a synthetic opiate. Unless you're taking an extensive drug test "army/some other government positions" Oxycontin will not show up on a standard drug test. If you are concerned, take a copy of the prescription with you to the testing site. Though it has been reported with extensive use Oxycontin can show up on the opiate panel as morphine... extensive use would be 160mg+ a day for several weeks...
Yes. I'm currently taking both for nerve damage to my knee. 10 mg of both 3x's a day on the methadone only once on the MSContin IR (Instant release morphine)
It completely depends on your tolerance. I have mixed Morphine and Oxycontin together, and they seem to harmonize quite nicely in my opinion. In fact, I have done just that about an hour ago... **BUT** I also have a high tolerance to narcotics. I had been taking Vicodin and Percocet on and off as a teenager, and then one day I was introduced to Oxycontin. Because I have a highly addictive personality (it runs in the family), it was bound to happen. I became hooked on Oxycontin and began on a regular basis for three years. I need about 80-100mg of Oxycontin to even begin to feel the way I need to feel in order to get things accomplished and be a more sociable, successful human being. These days, Vicodin and Percocets are nothing more than to help me fuction without being thrown into fullblown, crippling withdrawal. Narcotics, in my opinion should be prescribed for depression as well. So yes, to make a long story short, mixing Morphine with Oxycontin wont kill you, but if you're opiate intolerant, take the lowest dosage possible. Actually, if you are opiate intolerant, I would suggest not even trying them at all. Withdrawal and addiction is very real and one of the hardest things to overcome. Take in moderation and be safe. I also believe that pain killers should be perscribed for depression. Alot of people are doing that same thing self medicating
Honestly, Yes & NO Oxycodone usually does not come up positive for morphine on a drug test because they have different chemical structures...They are almost identical, so it really depends on the amount that was ingested...A faint line may appear for morphine meaning that the urine is skeptical, but nowdays urine is being sent to labs to confirm a specific drug or drug metabolite...Example : Oxycodone metabolizes in the body as Oxymorphone,, meaning if a GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) test is called upon, science can detect if a person has used oxycodone...But nowadays they have a sepcific dipstick/cup test for oxycodone , so i wouldn't suggest to continue using oxycodone if you are not prescribed, especially if you have legal problems where you are being drug tested. This is a very, very accurate answer, hope i helped you solve your issue
I have been an opiate addict for about 3 years. However, I started MMT (Methadone Maintence Theropy) about 6 months ago and have been off off opiates since then. Like your question, my main drug of choice was Oxycontin. I took 40-150mg of Oxycontin a day.. or morphine, vicodin, or fentanyl when I couldn't get Oxycontin. I was started on 40mg a day of methadone, then went to 65, then 85, then i was at 100, then 120, and now i am finally on 135. I take 135mg of methadone a day and it seems to help my withdrawl symptoms of oxycodone and other opiates. Just go to a methadone clinic, most clinics will take patients who have been addicts for over a year, and explain your problem to them. They will be very helpful and the doctor at the clinic will prescribe you what he feels is the appropiate dose, and if that dose starts to not be enough, meet with the doctor again and he will most likely up your dose.
No it will not ,3 day tops
If you take it every day, it will take several days (up to a week) to get out of your system. If it is only taken occasionally, it takes about 72 hours to get out of your system. Annabelle50
